Search for the article in the resource page again, or locate the article by year, volume, and issue.
How do you know what year, volume, and issue number the article was published in? This information can be found in the Library Record, under the author(s)'s names.
This will bring you to the list of articles that was published in that issue. Click on the article for full-text.
Example of the list of articles in an issue
If you find an amazing article but you can't access it, you can check if the Library subscribed to you by signing on via our authentication system - RemoteXs
Take this article as an example. Some journals may redirect you to ScienceDirect, a database which the library has subscribed to. SIT Library does not subscribe to every article and journal in the ScienceDirect database but you can check if the article you want can be accessed via SIT's subscription.
Of course, the Library also subscribed to many other databases and each of their login interface will look slightly different but the steps will be similar.
And if you still not able to access the article, fear not!
Step 2: This will bring you to ScienceDirect's login page. Select OpenAthens (our institution's friendly access management service).
This will bring you to OpenAthens' login page where you need to find SIT in the list of organisations by following the steps below.
This then brings you to the SIT sign-in page where you sign in.
This then redirects you back to ScienceDirect.
Step 3: Attempt to get the full text version again. If SIT Library did not subscribe to that article, then the article is not being made available. If yes, then hoorah!
