The Allied Health Professions comprise diverse groups of healthcare professionals providing a wide range of health services. These include Diagnostic Radiographers, Dietitians, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Prosthetists and Orthotists, Radiation Therapists, Speech Therapists, Optometrists and Opticians, Audiologists and Medical Social Workers.
Allied Health Professionals play vital roles in the different aspects of investigative work and therapeutic care for patients. As important members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, they work alongside doctors and nurses to provide holistic and high quality healthcare.
Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
AHPC was established in 2011 to regulate the allied health professions in Singapore. Its key purpose is to protect public interest through regulating the professional standards for practice, conduct & ethics of registered allied health professionals in Singapore.
