How to avoid Plagiarism

Whenever you make use of any information found in any books, articles or websites in your academic writing, it is important to indicate the source of the information. Citing references:

  • adds credibility to your work as your ideas are backed by experts on the topic;
  • avoids plagiarism and gives credit to the original author.

Citations also make it easier for your readers to locate the source of the information.
