Introduction

In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, a number of standards organisations have made some of their standards related to personal protective equipment (PPE), medical equipment and devices available for free during the crisis to facilitate manufacturing and testing.

Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI)
Includes standards for masks, gowns, gloves, ventilators, and sterilization procedures.
ASTM International
Includes ASTM standards related to medical masks, gowns, gloves, hand sanitizers, and other PPE and medical equipment.
