Research Data Management
This guide contains resources for learning about best practices in research data management.
"All research projects must include a data management plan (DMP) that records the intention on how research data arising from the research project will be managed, used and shared. The DMP must be filed through the designated SIT Platform at the start of each new project prior to funds being released. Unfunded applied research project led by academic staff which is likely to generate research data should also be supported by a DMP."
DMP Tools and Templates
There are various tools and checklists that can assist you with the DMP writing process. Check if your funder has any specific data management requirements or template for your use. If your funder has no specific requirements or your research is unfunded, you may use the SIT DMP Template.
An online tool that guides you through the creation of ready-to-use DMPs for inclusion in funding agency-specific proposals. You will need to create an account on the site to use the step-by-step guide.
