Ebook is the preferred format for acquisition, taking into consideration the seamless access to the content and the enhanced search functionalities. SIT Library not only subscribes to a number of ebook packages, but also purchases ebooks on a title-by-title basis from aggregators, namely Proquest Ebook Central and EBSCO. In addition, the Library has implemented evidence-based acquisitions with Elsevier and Wiley to acquire ebooks based on the actual usage of the ebooks.
There are 2 ways of searching for eBooks:
1. By using OneSearch and filtering the results by eBooks
2. By accessing the eBooks database directly. These are some of the eBooks databases available to SIT authorised users.
